The Maintenance of Certification program was intended to assist Caregivers under our care with a method to keep up-to-date with all certifications plus be advanced in their fields, develop better practice systems, and demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning. This will help the Caregiver focus on Better Care and Better Health towards the consumer while keeping updated with APD requirements.

Qlarant
Qlarant is contracted by the State of Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) to provide quality assurance for the State’s Developmental Disabilities Services system. They work in partnership with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) at the central office as well as with each local Area office.
APD
APD works in partnership with local communities and private providers to assist people who have developmental disabilities and their families. APD also provides assistance in identifying the needs of people with developmental disabilities for supports and services.
ACHA
ACHA is the chief health policy and planning entity for the state.
